Where to Watch the Super Bowl in Austin
The Super Bowl is just around the corner and whether you like football or not, Realty Austin has the perfect guide to where you can have fun that day. If you want to watch the actual game or just the commercials, we compiled a full list of bars and restaurants throwing parties for the upcoming American football game. We even found some adorable places to watch puppies in football uniforms hosts their own Super Bowl.
Austin Sports Bars
Offering plenty of televisions and a variety of beer taps, Star Bar is your NFL Sunday Ticket to the Super Bowl. They offer a Hail Mary drink that is hard to resist.
Watch the Super Bowl on one of their big screens at this easygoing West Campus bar with an extensive patio plus games.
East Austin’s Neighborhood Bar, The Brixton, is hosting a Super Bowl 50 party with drink specials and $5 Party Pizza Tall Boy combos.
Eight craft breweries battle against each other to make the most appetizing bowl of soup, stew, or chili using one of the breweries’ beers. The Super Bowl will be on during the duration of the competition and food trucks serving food.
Flying Saucer Austin will have half-price burgers, drink specials galore, and a fun environment to watch the game! Tables can be reserved for groups of people.
Black Sheep Lodge is a South Austin neighborhood bar with HD televisions, Wi-Fi, and lots of bar games. Preorder your hot wings and buy some football squares before the big game!
Whisler’s will have the game playing on inside and outside televisions, a good old fashioned Super Bowl Spread, house-made Bloody Mary’s, a mascot inspired cocktail menu and a special appearance by La Barbecue.
Super Bowl Parties
Punch Bowl Social is a venue with bowling, karaoke, Ping-Pong and other games. For the Super Bowl, they will have 50% of wings, 50% chips and salsa, plus $5 Old Man can & Brats.
Located on Austin’s East Side, The North Door has an ideal 25-foot HD video projection wall to watch the Super Bowl, local beer on tap, and delicious, fresh made pizze. All ages allowed with free admission.
Satellite will have a big screen projection, Bowl Pool with $2,200 worth of prizes, an appetizer buffet and Happy Hour drink specials.
Gourdough’s Super Bowl Party will consist of buffalo wings, a beer tower, six indoor televisions and eight outside televisions, plus a 9×11 projector and football squares with prizes!
Known as a modern gastropub, Blackfinn Ameripub will have beer towers, Bloody Mary’s, pints of beer and yummy food to enjoy while watching Super Bowl 50.
Fado Irish Pub’s Super Bowl proceeds will support UMATX’s Young Leaders Society, so party for a cause for this years Super Bowl!

The Austin Humane Society is presenting a Puppy Bowl with food trucks, local vendors and businesses, tailgating games, and live music! The puppies will be dressed in uniform, as well as kitten cheerleaders.
