AUSTIN, TX — Realty Austin, the #1 independent residential real estate brokerage in Austin, is proud to announce they are the Presenting Sponsor of the Austin Children’s Shelter 10th Annual Touch-a-Truck event at Camp Mabry on May 7, 2016 from 10:00AM until 3:00PM.

Join the Touch-a-Truck event on Facebook and buy your tickets online.

Touch-A-Truck is a fun-filled event that provides an opportunity for kids of all ages to come to Camp Mabry and have the chance to touch, explore and climb on any vehicle they can imagine from fire trucks and ambulances to backhoes and bulldozers. In addition to the vehicle areas, this year’s event will feature a kid zone with live music, petting zoo, face-painting, bounce houses, barrel train rides and more included in the low $5 entry fee.

Angela Glode, Chief Development Officer of SAFE Alliance said, “We welcome Realty Austin as our Presenting Sponsor to help spread awareness. Realty Austin’s team prioritizes giving back to the community, and we are honored they have chosen our organization to support. It is our hope that their influence in all areas of Austin will help raise awareness and grow our event to help more families.”

Realty Austin agents and staff will volunteer their time and energy at the Touch-a-Truck event to make the fundraiser a success for Austin Children’s Shelter and the children they serve.

In a partnership with SAFE Alliance, the event volunteers and sponsors are dedicated to raising funds to help children and families who need a safe place to call home. The goal of this year’s event is to raise more money than ever to cover the growing costs of providing basic needs, quality care, and services at the shelter. Entry fees into the event will have a direct impact on children, young adults and families receiving services at the shelter.

Yvette Boatwright, co-owner of Realty Austin and an ACS Women of Hope Founder said, “We are honored to be working hand-in-hand with SAFE Alliance to sponsor Touch-a-Truck benefiting Austin Children’s Shelter, an organization we have supported for over 5 years to help build a foundation of success for everyone they serve. Giving back is the cornerstone of our culture that stems directly from our core values and mission at Realty Austin.”
